The Complex includes seven track configurations which are designed to be run in the clockwise direction.
The full 1270m track has been subject to CIK-FIA simulation to assist with the positioning of CIK-FIA kerbs and safety fences. The various track configurations will provide plenty of variety for host clubs to utilise. The shorter tracks will also be great for driver coaching.
The track will be 9m minimum wide and the full international track has a 4m elevation change (highest to lowest points).
Maximum number of karts: 36.
The Tri-oval is expected to be a favourite with speed skaters and will provide a new experience for kart drivers and bucket bike riders.
Normal Resource Consent Operating Hours:
(a) Working Days and Public Holidays that fall on a Friday or Saturday: 9.00am to 10.00pm;

Future updates will include the provision of track lighting in order to maximise the complex's resource consent.
The off track area including the Dummy Grid (covered in future), Service Park, Mechanics Viewing Stand, Weigh Shed, Parc Ferme and Technical Inspection Room have been designed to help ensure easy and rapid flow of karts and crew in order to maximise track time and provide the necessary security controls.
The layoput, with a "Hot Pit Lane", will be wellsuited to endurance racing/driver changes.
The final design of the Club Room, Race Control, etc is yet to be completed. The Club Rooms and elevated Viewing Deck will be suitable for corporate use/off track driver instruction and include a full catering kitchen. Those shown below are concept sketches only.
An area has been set aside for a Hire Kart track which will be independent of the racing tracks.
Future development could include a building for kart storage.
Adjancent to the Trailer Pits is an area sub-leased to the Auckland Radio Controlled Car Club which intends to build a 1/8th off road clay track, 1/10th astro track and eventually a 1/8 on road tarmac track. See plan below.
