Colin Dale Park International Raceway Project is a multi-million dollar legacy project. This world-class, multi-discipline facility will satisfy and deliver on the desire of many, including Kartsport Auckland and Mt Wellington Clubs, along with Auckland/Manukau Councillors of nearly 20 years ago, namely a world-class, wheeled event centre to serve Tamaki Makaurau and the nation's families friends and athletes.
Currently, the Trust, in conjunction with Auckland Council, has secured a lease on the Colin Dale Park site, and the Council has undertaken significant base infrastructure work, access, drainage, power, parking, etc, as part of the multi-disciplined recreation park facilities. Resource consent is approved, and all key design work is complete, including a simulation report of the track itself by the CIK-FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile)
Funds have been committed to starting the initial track build, and the Trust is now seeking commercial and private support to enable the facility to be constructed into a professional 7-day-a-week sporting facility that will cater for all age groups and a diverse range of wheeled activities and competition.
